Creating a distinctive Garden party
Friday, June 25th, 2010
Now that the sun is finally here, we can plan a “Garden party”, if the rain happens to visit, then make it a “Porch-Party”
Spread the word about your party with stylish invitations like the picture below. They are screen printed vintage handkerchiefs. Or if you find that screen printing is too difficult, type out your invitation in a word document and print out on transfer paper, so you may iron the words onto your selected vintage handkerchief/linen How cool is that!?I’m sure your guests will be impressed!
For your table-scape you can be as creative as you like. The picture above show clear glass and white plates dressed up with a simple fuchsia napkin. I love simplicity. The flowers/centerpieces and napkin are your pops of color. Place seed packets under the silverware as the perfect party favor for your Garden Party.
Chill your beverages in a galvanized bucket filled with ice to leave space in your refrigerator, plus this makes it easy for guests to grab a drink when they get thirsty. Lemonade in glass bottles make a refreshing choice. For the recipe to the adorable little garden party cupcakes CLICK HERE to visit Woman’s Day.com

Thursday, May 20th, 2010I have to admit, I have been away from “Blog-Land” way too long and I missed it so! I have been busy with my new business venture {Wedding Planner} and I must say, ” I LOVE MY JOB!” its the best being your own boss!! I realize (now that I’ve got the hang of things, new job, new husband, and so on) I have to prioritize. Meaning: managing my time better. I was finding that I was getting too tired at the end of the day to do some of the things I love most… My Blog being one of them. I’m officially back in the saddle and must say it feels great! It’s hard to get TRULY organized. Its nice to have my little web log here in cyber space, its such a great outlet for me in so many ways!!
